We are proud to announce our work with the Faherty family and brand. We are excited to be apart of such an exciting project together.

Doug Good Feather began working with the Faherty family on a design for blankets after meeting through a mutual friend a few years ago. The Faherty families dedication to strive to make thoughtful decisions that benefit people, community, and the planet as well as the 5 core values that the Faherty Brand carries has deeply inspired Doug. He felt this project is a project of love, compassion and to help others. Both Faherty and the Lakota Way Healing Center are dedicated to giving to our communities to ensure everyone has the support they need to live a good healthy life.

Doug believes in the power of storytelling as a way to change minds and hearts. He designed two blankets for Faherty: the Spirit Horse and the Morning Star, which share the importance of the ally-ship of the horse and the power of our ancestors. We are proud to share these blankets with you, made from organic cotton and in the USA.

The Lakota Way Healing Center is honored and humbled to announce that 100% of the profits from both of the blankets will be given back the LWHC to help further assist us in helping those suffering from PTSD, addictions and other ailments through traditional Lakota healing practices.
